In the age of social media, of content creators and of influencers, it appears that some revolutions will be televised. Cher Autumn Strauberry is one of skateboarding’s most revolutionary figures today, living her most authentic self whether that’s on the streets of Oakland, CA or on her 20k-follower Instagram profile. She’s quite a womxn. Not only holding the podium for one of the most creative styles (on and off a board), not only singing lead vocals for punk band Twompsax, not only repping Unity Skateboards hard as is possible; she’s also currently on one of the most mysterious rollercoaster rides of her life. Cher is a transwoman, and in her own words “learning what that means a little everyday.” In this incredibly moving documentary, Magdalena Wosinska follows Cher through just one of those days in her life. Find out what has made her one of skateboarding’s LGBTQ+ icons, and how she’s still exploring her identity all the time.
