Skate Like a Girl (SLAG) work to create an inclusive community by promoting confidence, leadership, and social justice through skateboarding. How? Primarily through the organisation of events, workshops and camps which encourage all-gender participation. Their most recent announcement is the QT Skate Camp – a two day event for Queer and Trans identified skaters to meet, greet and skeet.

Registration is now open for Skate Life a Girl’s first QT Skate Camp in Seattle, with places available for skaters aged 5-16. And with their programme commitment to offer financial aid to those who need it, it’s clear that their priority is to truly change the way we open skateboarding to people of all identities.
