Saturday September 13th saw Athens play host to one of the biggest European contests: ‘Vans Shop Riot”. Maroussi skatepark, and those who came from miles around, were treated to a full day of competition, with the best skaters from the Greek scene in the recently opened facility in Oaka; tearing it apart.

The country’s biggest skate-shop teams gave it their all for the judges and the crowd, and ‘Vans Shop Riot’ went off in the Summer sun.
The big winners of the contest were the team riders from Ministry of Concrete skate shop. The prizes were tickets to, and a spot in, the European Vans Shop Riot finals in Belgium.
