Hello all rock’n’roll fans,
Today we got the fantastic news that Skateism will be attending Slam Dunk Festival (South) as press for the event, which means some really great behind the scenes information for you, our readership. Of course, we are primarily a skateboarding magazine, but it’s near-impossible to split music and skating, especially at Slam Dunk (where both Goldfinger and Millencolin are playing, who grace the classic THPS soundtracks).
The festival will feature some of the best Rock, Punk, Pop-Punk, Metal, Acoustic, and Electronic music around right now; putting big names next to up-and-comers, and the whole thing goes off in Hertfordshire, just North of London.
We will be sticking our noses in and trying to get interviews with bands and brands, as well as sticking together a collection of event photos for you all to gander at whether there or absent for the actual event.
