PEEP THIS: RajonTV’s “Oasis” Edit

Our buddy Edvard Gaba, the lensman behind Latvian skate channel RajonTV, sent us this sick edit filmed at “the best spot in Riga.” The spot in question is Riga’s first concrete skatepark, built on the grounds of a former Soviet electronics factory. The factory was home to a now-defunct indoor park, so it was ready for some DIY action. In 2013, the factory’s large fountain area, which stored water used for cooling, and served as a place for workers to relax on breaks, was converted into an amazing concrete park with a little help from Madars Apse and his sponsors. Since then, more concrete parks have popped up in Riga, and this spot has become less popular, but Ed and his crew wanted to go back and pay homage. Boy did they!
