The London skate scene dodges a major blow to its subculture as the Southbank Centre releases details of a contract with the Long Live South Bank activists, allowing them to remain at the undercroft.
After initially stating that the undercroft was a crucial area to the further development of the Southbank Centre’s ongoing arts festival, the Thames-side landmark have conceded that they should focus on the current areas before attempting to branch out.
Long Live South Bank have worked tirelessly in the UK, and further, to preserve the famous skate spot. The skateboarding scene thank them hugely.
