The world’s momentum is at odds, there is no denying that. It manifests itself in panic, in anxiety, in uncertainty. Yet, it also reveals itself most dazzlingly, in love. Love for your loved ones, for your skate community, for your neighbours, for your elders and most importantly, your friends. In times like those, it’s crucial to stay connected for those of us who have this privilege. This is why it’s important for us at SKATEISM to show love and thankfulness to our friends and supporters.
In fall 2019, an agency reached to SKATEISM to find a diverse group of skaters for an ad with Adidas Superstar. Proposing that the core crew be part of the ad, it was difficult to accomplish it as we are spread over five countries on different continents. With problems to meet and coordinate everyone’s schedule, it was decided to send some of our friends in Europe to do the shoot for the ad.
With French riders Noemie Sebayashi, Clara Pacotte, Tom Boyaval, Alexandre Gaulmin and Canadian rider, Holden Vetro, it was sure to be a shoot packed with fun and it shows. The video shows them laughing and shining, something that we love them for. We also know they work hard, always pushing for more and more inclusivity in their community.

Much like our mandate to offer a platform for diversity in skateboarding, we are proud to surround ourselves with such friends. Though we want to be transparent and clarify that while SKATEISM is everyone’s team, we don’t sponsor skaters like the advertisement seems to convey. They have been long time supporters and for that we are grateful.
We would like to thank you as well. Whether you have known of SKATEISM for a long time or not, we are more than pleased to see your interest in the diverse skateboarding community. Sharing with you all the beauty and diversity the skateboarding community has to offer is our greatest pleasure.
