It’s international anti-transphobia, biphobia and homophobia day. A cause close to our hearts, and so it seemed only logical that we release ISSUE TWO of SKATEISM – The Diversity Skateboarding Magazine to show our love and support. True to the soul of SKATEISM, Issue two features the brightest and best of the underground and overlooked in skateboarding. And on the cover? The queer skateboarding power-couple, Jeffrey & Gabriel from Unity Skateboards. Feast your eyes!
ORDER NOW & BE THE FIRST TO READ IT!

The journey from Issue One to Issue Two was immense. Where the first issue came together over many, many years of unintentional preparation, issue two had to happen in just four months. And yet, even with limited time to collect all the most exciting stories on diversity and DIY in skateboarding today, the result is bigger, better and more diverse than number one. Why? Frankly, it’s because of all of you. The love and support we received at the hands of you – our readers, our friends, our culture – is what meant we were able to speak to and platform for all these incredible projects, groups and individuals.
SPECIAL THANKS TO: Samuel McGuire, Jeff & Gabriel at Unity, Lucy Adams, Filip Elerud, Robin & Max at 2er, Thomas Callan, Katharina at BRIGHT, Pushing Boarders, and Hannah Bailey.

We spoke to the crew at Unity Skateboards about their emerging queer skate culture, to Lucy Adams about a career as a woman in skateboarding and her involvement in the Olympic GB team. We heard from Paige on the ins and outs of transphobia in skating, and Hannah from Skateistan told us all about Oliver Petrovich and his team’s journey to their 10 year anniversary. We’ve heard about skating in India and Nigeria, Palestine and Israel, and back to Europe, making more and more friends along the way.
